Bucknuckles Bar & Grill: A Unique American Bar Experience in Alma, WI

06/22/2025 I was there on a Sunday at 3:00 p.m. There was a good crowd in the bar. I ordered shrimp and fries, The food was good, and it cost me under $20 with my Busch light. This is a very interesting bar! There are things like old tools and car parts used to build the stair railings and footstep at the bar. And a lot of other things. I was also there on a Friday, December 19th at 3:00. I ordered the special: tenderloin sandwich with house beans and chips for $15.00. It was very good.

Stopped in on 1/3/ 26 for couple drinks,happened to meet owner, Dennis ( Cool Cat), had great conversation with him. Many great stories, and history of B/Ducks. Loved decor of his joint, very cool, highly recommend!! Again, thanks Dennis,you made our day. Had porkbellies wrapped in bacon. Excellent

Truly a destination establishment that is well worth the trip. Most of the food is home made, and is as unique as the bar itself. If you feel brave enough to branch out and try new types of burgers, this place is for you. This bar is packed with an eclectic collection of items that will entertain you the whole time you are there. It's a fun day drive.

Located on a great motorcycle riding highway that has scenic hills and valleys and lots of curves. I'd watch out for those 4 wheel cages on road though, just about became a grease spot on road turning into the parking lot. A tailgating Durango tried and somehow passed me on the right without hitting a road sign, mailbox, utility pole, or my bike, without a shoulder or turn in lane.

One of my favorite bars to go to. Tucked away in Wisconsin. Went and had tomahawk steaks for our annual dart party that were cooked wonderfully with sweet corn, and bacon wrapped asparagus. All brought to us outside and there was an outdoor bar to get drinks at. Their burgers are awesome as well. Cool bar has all sorts of fun stuff for decor. Highly recommend this place.

One of the coolest places I have ever run into!. Out cursing on my new GTL and ran into this place, so decided to stop for a quick lunch and refreshment. Just a few locals when I first arrived, but shortly after a few fellow bikers and some others traveling through and the place was hoping. So uniquely decorated with local tractor seats and a bar made with pennies and table with dollar bills. The owner really went out of the way to make this a place to visit. The bartender was from my Colorado town, so we immediately connected. See the video for a first rate welcome. This will be my definite return place when I am back this fall for another ride in the beautiful Wisconsin country.

It's a really fun and unique bar, there is a downstairs room with pool and some other games right above that area as well. The reason I keep going back is the menu. Their wings are the best I've ever had! I have never used sauce on them because it isn't needed. You can order an enormous family size steak if you call ahead. I'd call if you have a larger group for a birthday which is why we visit every year around Thanksgiving. There are non ahead options such as elk and non beef options. My family like the jalapeño poppers and the jalapeño cheese curds. I like to ask for recommendations on drinks and had a brandy old fashioned and it as lovely. My family of 7 (5 over 21) averaged 45 pp with tip but that was with 2 buckets of wings, other appetizers, drinks and baskets. Next time my husband's plan is to just order lots of wings for himself. So good.
